Rolling the bones with Really Dicey!

Cthulhu during the Napoleonic wars? They said it couldn’t be done… I’m here to prove them wrong! Well, I exaggerate a little… slightly… for effect… mainly. No-one actually said it couldn’t be done, but maybe it shouldn’t be done?

Nonsense, the Napoleonic age is a prime setting for weird fiction adventures. There’s the grand backdrop of major European wars raging in the background, a battle against tyranny (though which side that makes you fall on is up for debate), and a glorious set of uniforms and extravagant facial hair to enjoy.

It’s a superb setting for action, adventure and daring exploits with a supernatural twist and one which I’ve adopted for my Mon Dieu Cthulhu! historical fantasy series. I’m only surprised no-one beat me to it.

Which roundabout ramblings brings me to the subject of today’s post, which is my recent interview with Really Dicey.

Manny is a great guy and an engaging interviewer and it’s always a pleasure to have a chat with him. This interview delves deeper into the writing of the new Mon Dieu Cthulhu novel Shadow of the Serpent, the background to the Mon Dieu Cthulhu! series and some first thoughts on the forthcoming Mon Dieu Cthulhu! RPG. Enjoy!
