Interview: Tentacles and Cosmic Horror  in the Napoleonic Age!

It’s always splendid to have a chance to have a chat about your work. But no matter how many of them I do, I always get a touch of the butterflies beforehand. Fortunately, the admirable Jeremy Gypton of Fluff n’ Crunch is a great interlocutor. He’s friendly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about writing and all things historical, cosmic horror and game design.

Here we’re having a chat about Shadow of the Serpent, Mon Dieu Cthulhu!, the Napoleonic Age and how the worlds of fiction and game design often intersect.

Do check out some of Fluff n’ Crunch’s series of other excellent podcasts which cover things like Star Trek Adventures,  Star Wars Outlaws and deep dives into TTRPGs and their mechanics. Fascinating stuff and always worth a listen.

Don’t forget, Shadow of the Serpent launches online one week from today in the UK and US. If you want to get a signed copy and meet me in person, I’ll be at the Innsmouth Literary Festival on Saturday 28th September, doing signings, readings and taking part in panels on gaming.

You should also sign up below for all the news, exclusive stories, content and competitions and all the latest in my author newsletter. You could win yourself signed copies of the entire Mon Dieu Cthulhu series!
