A Searing Summer Update + D-Day: The Darkest Day!

It’s been a bit of a hectic year so far with the highly successful launch of the Achtung! Cthulhu Starter Set and the big D-Day: The Darkest Day campaign book to coincide with the 80th anniversary. Plus prepping up for the launch of the new Mon Dieu Cthulhu release.

More on all of those in due course but it was splendid to have a recent chat with The Story Told Podcast to talk about D-Day: The Darkest Day and the art and science of designing  TTRPGs.

If you’d like a little insight into the process of making a large TTRPG book, plus some tips and inside info, it’s well worth a listen. Griffin was such a gracious, generous host and we had a good old chat, got deep into the weeds and the hour just seemed to fly by.

Bonus knowledge: you get to find out my favourite variety of pasta, for those who’ve always wondered!

There’s big things afoot for later in the year too, with the MDC series revised and a new Mon Dieu Cthulhu! book (title and cover to be revealed soon) to launch at the Innsmouth Literary Festival at the end of September. Keep an eye peeled for that, or why not come along and say hello in person? It promises to be a blast with Charles Stross as guest of honour, a first chance to grab a signed copy of the new Mon Dieu Cthulhu! novel and the weird and wonderful delights of Innsmouth after Dark, featuring readings, performances, a set from DJ Mendees, plus live music from Byronic Sex and Exile!

So why not join the fight against the powers of the mythos and darkness and sign up for my newsletter (below)! Free bonus stories from either The Seraph Chronicles or The Mon Dieu Cthulhu! series await every new fan (including a brand new Seraph prequel featuring Lt. Archibald Strang which I’ve just completed).

You’ll be first in line for all the goodies which are set to arrive as Mon Dieu Cthulhu! returns.

 Over and out!
